Lacoste x Bandier Collection — Official Collaboration
We partnered with Lacoste to reimagine their iconic tennis heritage for modern movement. This pleated skirt blends French craftsmanship with our performance fabric technology — moisture-wicking stretch weave holds shape through high-intensity training while maintaining the classic silhouette Lacoste perfected on clay courts decades ago.

The Lacoste x Bandier collaboration brings together 90 years of French sportswear heritage with our contemporary approach to activewear design. When we approached Lacoste about partnering, we knew we wanted to honor their tennis legacy while pushing their fabrics and silhouettes into spaces they hadn’t explored — high-intensity training, studio classes, and the full spectrum of movement modern athletes demand.

Fabric Technology and Construction
We spent eight months developing the core fabrics for this collection, blending Lacoste’s cotton expertise with our synthetic performance technology. The result is a hybrid textile that behaves like natural fiber against skin while wicking moisture faster than traditional athletic fabrics.
Moisture Management System
The tennis skirt and court shorts use our four-way stretch mesh with a moisture-wicking finish that pulls sweat away from skin 40% faster than standard polyester blends. We integrated Lacoste’s piqué weave pattern into the polo’s chest and back panels, then added our breathable mesh inserts at heat zones. Each garment went through 50-wash durability testing to ensure the crocodile embroidery, contrast piping, and performance coatings maintain integrity through hundreds of training sessions.

Fit and Sizing Guidance
This collection runs true to our standard sizing, but the athletic fit differs slightly from regular Lacoste pieces. We designed each garment with a closer cut through the torso and more room through shoulders and hips to accommodate the full range of athletic movement.
Size Selection
The pleated tennis skirt sits at your natural waist — measure around the narrowest part of your torso, typically an inch above your belly button. If you fall between sizes, we recommend sizing up for the skirt and jacket, staying true to size for the polo and shorts. The compression liner in the skirt and shorts provides a snug fit by design, while the outer shell maintains a relaxed silhouette. The polo features a tailored cut through the chest and waist — those who prefer a looser fit should order one size up.

Questions About the Lacoste x Bandier Collection
This collaboration merges Lacoste’s 90-year heritage in tennis apparel with our modern performance technology. We co-developed hybrid fabrics that combine Lacoste’s signature cotton piqué with our moisture-wicking synthetics, creating pieces that look like classic French sportswear but perform like technical athletic gear.
The design process involved both brands’ studios — Lacoste contributed their iconic crocodile embroidery, color palette, and construction techniques, while we engineered the compression layers, strategic mesh panels, and athletic fit. You won’t find these specific fabrics, silhouettes, or color combinations in either brand’s solo collections.
The collection runs true to our standard Bandier sizing but features a more tailored athletic fit than traditional Lacoste pieces. We designed closer cuts through the torso with extra room in shoulders and hips for full range of motion during training.
If you typically wear Lacoste polos or tennis skirts, you may want to try your usual size first but be aware these fit slimmer through the body. The compression elements in the skirt and shorts provide a snug fit by design. If you prefer looser fits or fall between sizes, we recommend ordering one size up for the skirt and jacket, staying true to size for the polo and shorts.
Absolutely. While the collection draws inspiration from tennis heritage, we engineered every piece for multi-sport versatility. The pleated skirt works for pickleball, barre, cycling, and studio classes. The court shorts handle running, CrossFit, and gym training. The color-block polo transitions between golf, casual wear, and light workouts. The zip jacket serves as an everyday layer for commuting, outdoor activities, or post-workout coverage.
We tested prototypes during HIIT sessions, yoga classes, outdoor runs, and strength training to ensure the fabrics, compression layers, and construction details perform across different movement patterns and intensity levels.
The signature crocodile embroidery requires no special maintenance beyond normal washing. We use reinforced embroidery thread that withstands repeated machine washing without fraying or fading. Wash items inside-out in cold water to protect the embroidery from friction against other garments.
Avoid rough surfaces like Velcro or abrasive fabrics that might snag the threads. If you notice any loose threads around the embroidery, trim them close to the fabric rather than pulling — this prevents unraveling. The reflective crocodile on the jacket maintains its visibility through approximately 500 wash cycles.
This is a limited collaboration collection with Lacoste. We produced a set quantity of each style, and once inventory sells out, we will not restock these specific pieces. However, both brands are exploring future collaborations based on customer response.
We recommend ordering your preferred sizes and styles now rather than waiting. The collection launched exclusively through our site and select Bandier retail locations. If a style or size sells out online, you may find remaining inventory at our physical stores, but availability varies by location.
Each item arrives with care instruction tags specific to the hybrid fabrics we developed with Lacoste. The pleated tennis skirt and court shorts include the built-in compression liner as one integrated garment — there are no separate pieces to track. All items come in protective garment bags to prevent damage during shipping.
The collection uses premium packaging co-branded with both Lacoste and Bandier logos. Every piece includes detailed fabric content labels and country of origin information. We do not include additional accessories or promotional items with purchase, but you may receive exclusive early access notifications for future collaborations when you order from this collection.
The color-block polo and court shorts are designed as unisex pieces with sizing that accommodates a range of body types. We tested these styles on male and female athletes during development and adjusted the fits accordingly. The polo runs true to unisex sizing, while the court shorts offer enough room in the hips and thighs for male athletes.
The pleated tennis skirt and zip jacket were designed with women’s fit in mind, though some customers wear the jacket as a unisex style. For male shoppers, we recommend starting with our men’s activewear alongside the polo and shorts from this collaboration to build a complete training wardrobe.
