Le Ore Leggings — Bandier
Le Ore leggings represent Bandier’s collaboration with Italian design excellence, merging high-performance fabrics with artisan attention to detail. The name ‘Le Ore’ translates to ‘the hours’ in Italian, a nod to the meticulous time invested in perfecting each pair. We engineered these leggings for women who demand both function and form — whether powering through HIIT intervals or heading to brunch afterward.

Le Ore clothing brings European textile heritage to American activewear. We source the fabric from a family-owned mill in Northern Italy that has supplied performance textiles to Olympic athletes for three decades. The polyamide-elastane blend undergoes a proprietary knitting process that creates micro-channels within the weave, allowing heat and moisture to escape while maintaining compression.

Sizing & fit guide
Le Ore leggings run true to size with a second-skin fit. We recommend choosing your usual Bandier size — the fabric stretches to conform to your body but does not bag or sag. The high-rise waistband measures 3.5 inches wide and sits approximately one inch below the belly button on most body types. An internal drawcord hidden inside the waistband allows micro-adjustments for a custom fit.
Inseam options
The standard inseam is 27 inches, designed to hit at the ankle on someone 5’5″ to 5’8″. For petite frames under 5’4″, we offer a 25-inch inseam that prevents bunching at the ankles. Taller athletes over 5’9″ can opt for the 29-inch extended length. All three lengths share the same waistband construction and compression profile. The leg opening measures 4.5 inches across when laid flat, tapering slightly from mid-thigh to ankle for a streamlined silhouette.

Care instructions to extend fabric life
Proper care keeps Le Ore leggings performing like new for years. We recommend turning them inside-out before washing to protect the outer finish. Machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle with like colors — avoid fabric softener, which coats the fibers and reduces moisture-wicking ability. The same cold-water principles that preserve fit in the care routines for high-performance leggings apply here, since heat degrades elastane over time.
Hang dry or lay flat to dry — never put them in the dryer. High heat breaks down the elastane fibers and causes premature pilling. If you must use a dryer, choose the air-only or no-heat setting. Store folded rather than hung, as hanging stretches out the waistband. For stubborn odors after intense workouts, add a half-cup of white vinegar to the rinse cycle. This neutralizes bacteria without harsh chemicals that weaken fabric.

Questions about the Le Ore leggings
Yes, every colorway in the Le Ore clothing line uses the same double-knit Italian fabric that maintains full opacity during deep squats and bends. The black, navy, and charcoal shades offer the highest coverage, while lighter colors like dove gray and sand still pass the squat test thanks to the fabric’s density. We recommend doing your own bend test in natural light when you first receive them to confirm the fit and coverage meet your standards.
Le Ore leggings deliver medium compression at 18-22 mmHg, which sits between our All Access leggings (light compression) and our Studio Pro leggings (firm compression). The compression is most noticeable around the thighs and glutes, providing muscle support during jumps and sprints without restricting blood flow. If you prefer a lighter, more relaxed fit for yoga or walking, the All Access style may be a better match.
Le Ore leggings are designed for studio and gym performance, not aquatic activities. The polyamide-elastane blend will absorb chlorine and saltwater, which degrades the fibers and causes color fading. For water-based workouts, we recommend our Swim Performance leggings, which use a chlorine-resistant fabric. If your Le Ore leggings do get wet from rain or accidental splashes, rinse them in cold fresh water and hang dry immediately.
Yes, Le Ore leggings feature a diamond-shaped gusset sewn into the crotch area. The gusset is cut from the same Italian fabric and uses a triangular construction that reduces stress on the center seam during wide-legged movements. This design detail prevents tearing and adds breathability in a high-friction zone. The gusset seams are flatlock-stitched so they lie completely flat against your skin.
Le Ore clothing is defined by its Italian textile sourcing and anatomical seam placement. While many premium brands manufacture in Asia using standard elastane blends, we partner with a Northern Italian mill that has supplied fabrics to professional cyclists and runners for decades. The mill’s proprietary knitting technique creates micro-channels in the weave that regulate temperature more effectively than standard compression fabrics. Every Le Ore piece also undergoes fit testing with Bandier studio instructors to ensure seams align with natural movement patterns.
When hung to air dry, Le Ore leggings typically dry within six to eight hours in a room-temperature environment with normal airflow. The moisture-wicking fabric releases water faster than cotton-blend activewear, so you won’t need a full 24 hours. For quicker drying, drape them over a drying rack in a well-ventilated area or near a fan. Avoid direct sunlight, which can fade the color over time. If you wash them in the evening, they’ll be ready to wear by morning.
Yes, we offer the Le Ore Sports Bra in the same Italian-milled fabric, available in coordinating solid colors that pair perfectly with the leggings. The sports bra features adjustable straps and removable cups for customizable support. We also carry a Le Ore Headband made from a single layer of the legging fabric, which wicks sweat during intense workouts. Additional Le Ore pieces, including a long-sleeve crop top and bike shorts, launch seasonally throughout the year.
